Did they buy the track to use it for anything else?

Newmarket was going to be a shopping mall and Germiston for car racing?

Not sure what happened...................help!

Newmarket now grazing ground for cows and sleeping place for many vagrants. Property values in the areas have gone

Germiston is a mixture of Warehouses and storage facility. Not sure if they still have motor races. Peter Lindenberg was the driving force on that one.

OK Update

I saw i took photos i think P are a bunch of jack asses.

U here of gaurds in watch towers in bloem the dudes take it seriously.

The security guard, Batton and all stays in the old commentary tower.

According to the Ian Jayes artcle in the Sporting Post this was sold for ZAR30M and not yet developed. For what purpose was this bought for and why was its value higher than that of Newmarket. Don't expect any answers and soon enough no one will ask any questions.It seems that the money was spent on an overpriced lighting system next to a smelly dump. WHO SAYS RACING DON'T STINK?????
