Freeracer

IF you’re reading this today, you are keen to find out why the proprietor of this website went missing for almost three weeks after hurling insults around the universe in rapid-fire fashion, on freeracer and the social media networks, on 2012 J&B Met day.

It took me a while to decide whether to furnish an explanation of what had happened. I am, however, publishing the article today since I believe it to be in the interest of regular freeracer surfers and those looking for apologies. It’s a worthwhile read too and, in addition to doses of Schedule 7 tablets, writing it was a form of therapy in the wake of my ordeal.

A number of rumours have reached me, some quite amusing, so just to clarify at the onset: I didn’t stick a needle in my arm, I didn’t lose my way on rocks smoked from a ‘Tik’ pipe and I didn’t party with a host Cape Town’s finest Yellowtail in Long Street until the Sunday after the Met. A good start to rehabilitation is talking about it, so I guess you have made that start. I am sure there are many readers on this forum who have been down in the deep valleys of some sort and walked through dark lonely days. My best advice is to get yourself into a good bible based church if you are serious about turning your life around. Will keep you in my prayers and wish you much success in your future endeavours. Not exactly sure who you are, as I am still getting to know who is who on the forum.

Another chapter in your life. Whatever happens, good or bad, eventually makes us what we are. You made it this time and I am sure you are wiser and will ,hopefully, not easily fall into the trap again. Good luck, Charl, you have the brains and ability to make it to the top of whateer you strive to do. GO FOR IT!!!

not sure if you noticed but it wasn't Charl who started this thread ..it was an article on freeracer which was posted here hence the "non summary" besides you cant be too busy if you had the time to submit the sling off or was it just a case of "couldnt help myself"

You couldnt have said it any better Titch. I started the thread for the people that know the Freeracer website and Charl. People who are suffering from they own crisis somehow can find light in reading this article and overcome their Demons.
