I must admit Hotline, I cannot comment as I have not seen the race yet but your filly is supremely frustrating. I think the weight of my money on her seems to stop her every time
Next time I will watch with you in mind and shout her home for you, she has now officially broken my heart!
IMO she would be most effective at the Vaal or Turffontein with their long straights. not sure if you race horses on the highveld?

I think the weight of your and my money combined on her would sink the Titanic!....she has a huge amount of ability but always finds something or someone to stop her.....i had a skiing holiday planned on the treble but alas..not to be.Next time she runs i wont have a cent on her and maybe she will put the right hoof forward....and as for Jhb to race ,hadnt thought of that yet.

For what its worth ,I have taken a closer look at Feel My Love as i can understand the frustration:
Contrary to my initial perception ,she is one of the most consistent fillies in training............almost every run at 1800m -2000m has been run at between 78 & 81 rating!
Yesterdays run is hard to assess cos depending on the line horse it could have been anything between 69 & 89...........but small fields &/or muddling paces are best ignored.
If she was mine I would wait try hard to find a fillies plate where hopefully she can be well handicapped @ 79 and get her confidence back(It should get easier with the Natal exodus) and she handles the winter going.
Her problem is her consistency..........not improving and right there so not dropping!
If that doesn't work .I give up.......lol

Could be right 2 cents but she seems to run every distance to similar ratings, but frustrating horses often need distance experimenting???

1400m not the answer....wants 2000m plus.....she is way better than her MR.....hopefully a late maturer!

I agree with Hotline here, the further the better, but she needs to be left alone though. When MJ hassled her on Wednesday and Karl was niggling at her, she gave no kind of punch. Would be hard to dam her running against C division colts though. Wasn't the absolute worst field around.
The only reason I suggested Jhb would be the longer run ins and perhaps the good going during the spring and summer months. Being by Fusaichi Pegasus she should enjoy cut in the ground?

She just looks like a really hard filly to ride. i think the distance is correct, but i would give Christopher Puller a chance to bring her home......oh yes.......and at Kenilworth, not Durbanville. Cheers everyone.
