go do your homework properly then you will see ......in politician jackson beat him fair and scare by 2,5 lenghs at even weight over 200m shorter than Met....in derby jackson could beat him c/d with 6 lenghs after jackson had the race of his life and everything went right......tribal dance was way off the pace out of his ground at the back and still mowed them down .........totally wrong tactics with tribal...he also need 2000m+ and a fast pace,needs to sit handy to kick at top of the 600m straight....he the one off only a small few that can kick for 600m and now 2kg(4lenghs) better of as Variety Club ,Jackson and Master plan.....go figure
if Byleveld can get him to sit just behind the leader then he will be very very hard to beat .....no jokes...Marshall made the mistake of his life not to have him in July,he would have WON......that is how confident i was and i said 6 months ago he will win the MET........

Agree with Pirates, according to you Zietsman he has the best form in the race but of a 108 would not be the best handicapped horse in the race. :S

the best hcapped horse at the moment in the race could turn out to be beach beauty who according to my calculations will carry 55.5....if she wins which i assume will be her next race the paddock stakes she will carry an added 2kg.....variety club is the highest rated horse of a 118 but thats been achieved over 1600m then jackson a 116 achieved over 2000m...so beach beauty at this of a 110 is best in

it wouldnt surprize me to see marshall run tribal dance in the reserve stayers race and give the met a miss ...only my opinion

I go with that last post but hey we all have our say some just louder than others. as for Molly Tuesday is pensioners day at Thunder Gun then get to the lounge and we will help you with a few winners for Met Day but the Master Plan isnt one of them

Can we please have trainer Brett Crawford's take on the Met. Remember he did stress the Daily News was his mission and mission accomplished in Durban so we are eagerly awaiting his comments. Could Jackson be another Pocket Power in the making and pull off not one but more Met victories??

So far the runs over shorter have been top class. Somehow Tribal's failure to win the Derby at Clairwood showed up as a few pennies short of a pie but Marshall has done the Met ala La Fabulous so who knows, now we await Ziets to give the go ahead and sell the house and put..................................<
