Its called Palpable Error...
They have to try and contact you before the race has run to see if you want the new odds,if they cant contact you they adjust the price
to its proper odds and the bet runs.
With your bet if they could contact you after the 1st leg you should have the option of the double running with the adjusted price or
cancelling the 2nd leg and being paid out on a single.
If they dont they are bang out of order..

Yip Dave, that is what they told me was done. Any straight bet at the obviously
incorrectly disseminated odds would be void, but multiples would be paid on the
remaining legs.
Unfortunately without knowing specific customers details I am unable to check
if anyone was not paid correctly, but if they send me a PM I will certainly verify
their accounts.

also waiting...for the outcome....but what i can tell u...for far too long we have just sat back and taken their rules....i have spoken to about 5 bookies about this issue...and all concur that in this instance the punter doesn't have a leg to stand ..because the rules are clear..and as the rules stand at the moment ..they are in favour of the bookie...but..and a big but...rules are there to be tested...when a little guy about a year ago was told that he had no chance taking on ABSA...he just didnt sit back, although the rules at the time favoured the bank..he tested the rules..and guess what a new precedent was set...how are we gonna set new precedents if we just sit back and accept "rules" all the time...but i must add...that today i realised that more people than we think reads this site...i wanted to talk to a manager at marshalls today on some other matter...and they retorted back to me by saying...they were not happy about what i wrote about them on the site...my point to them..and i hope they read this:4/5 months ago when i wrote about how good mbet and marshalls were regarding limits and spoke highly of them...did they not bask in that glory...now when i speak about issues that are real...the treat me with discontempt...i hope the director Jeremy Marshall gives me a call tommorrow...regarding the attitude of their staff...but if he doesn't,,...its no sweat off my back...because they give me nothing...and i contribute to over 60%of their daily turnover anyway in that specific branch...so they can work out who needs who more...

Does anyone punt with Marshalls (Worldofsport online) on their website. I decided to deposit some money in my account seeing that I be in Durban and there is a Marshalls at Toti. What can you get most of a runner cos my limit is off a runner is R5000. As your know my problem I refrain from calling any bookmaker for a bet at work as it causes a stir amongst employees. Congrats to Hollywood though as there limit as increased to R20 000 of a runner on their website (tu)

The amount of R5000 a single bet an R12500 for a multiple is the
default setting in Turfsport for any online account (it sets automatically
when an account is opened, but can be adjusted on request.
You can phone the telebetting number of 032 541 9500 or email
betting@worldofsport.co.za and ask Vincent or Vikash if they can
increase your limit for you.
Thanks

I have no knowledge of this, as Marshalls World of Sport only bought us out
this year. All our clients that have been transferred to the MWOS system seem
to be happy with the service, and none have reported problems like you mention
to me. We have added some very big customers for them, and all have been
accommodated.
If you can PM your details to me I will investigate further.
Thanks
