After the excitement of Classic Day this past Saturday, we are back to the 'bread and butter' stuff; with a couple of maiden plates and four handicaps making up the P6 with a juvenile race forming the first leg of the PA; normally I would be looking to go wide in the baby races, but Dover Beach does look very hard to oppose - and as the other races are very wide open imo, I would have to settle for DB as a PA banker and also go short in race 3 where it does seem to lie between Shiver and Shake (fair debut) - and Madam Carla (again finding betting support).
R4 : Gonna have to go looking for that pin
R5: Also lots with chances - War Front (MR dropping and stable back in form) catches my eye as a potential upset to the obvious ones (Luminous Love, Two Gun Kid, Battle Flame. Flaming Forge, Gentleman Jack and Grey's Anatomy).
R6: Again lots with chances, the ones that jump out at me as possible 'applecart upset types', are Edict (has a nice draw and may now prefer this sort of trip) and Bee Keeper (no allies and a Xmas jock - but maybe on purpose?)
R7: Reign Victorious the obvious one, and should really not miss a place, but there are also a few 'funny' ones here; Speed Keeper is effective this trip, MR has come down and he has a nice draw; Draconian has absolutely no form but has found betting support at long odds, Lake Albert ran a close up 4th last time at big odds and Chestnut Charger has the potential to improve imo
R8: Very open fillies and mares handicap to close; for me I think both Carribbean Dream and Beautiful Muriel has something to find here, I think Stunning Jet looks nice value with Justanotherday, while Idle Hour can also feature despite a wide draw; London Dipper and Miravar not to be ignored either
Break a leg - I think we're going to need all the luck we can get (tu)

Race 1 Judicial to justify favouritism,
maybe Road Trip words out can run see the distance out, bend?

this tote story is really getting me seriously pissed off. I do not know what who was trying to achieve, but Zaaifontein was 20/1 when it bolted, was paying a packet for a win and a place but how is the following betting moves on the tote..... whilst it is running down the track...
0 14 68.7 .. 9.4 88
0 14 9.4 .. 5.3 49
The fields are 'time to off' , Horse number, Win Payout, New Win Payout .... % move... so from R68.70 a win to R5.30 a win ????
What made me have a look was that on Tabonline it was showing 90c a place while galloping down the track....:X
