I agree Fort Defiance was a brass of note but Fortune has the ability to settle horses which is half the battle won and he seldom unbalances them which in my opinion prevents injury - good jocks Can improve bad horses but Good horses do make bad jocks look good(hence almost anyone getting aboard mounts from top stables will have winners - the trick is to spot the real talent)

Agree Fortune a awesomely talented rider - its all in his hands. The great rides are where a jock. gets something home that should never have won.

yup i saw Ryan Moore and Frankie do so many times last season - 600m out and you've torn up your tickets - 50m before the line you're on the floor trying to find them!!!

Fort came into that race(3yr old) with a huge reputation and was in the reds compared to Free's 4/5 to 1.
subsequently,Free became a champion and Fort just became defiant towards racing.

Any1 has any news wrt N BRUSS?
