Some of the riders he finds are amazing Latham looks to be top class - if you can't make it after he has asked you to work for him then something wrong with you

I'm saying if he picks you as a youngster and you cannot make it then blame only yourself - he found Cheyne and Bonham also - and yes i am saying if you can't make it after he has found you as a Youngster then you have only yourself to blame - De kock had nothing to do with finding Marwing who was already established - He gives promising youngster a chance then it's up to them to prove their worth

I think you've answered your own question - Marwing is a top Jockey after he left de Kock he still has top stats, so has Cheyne and now Latham - it's Bekker's own prblem if he cannot compete- And the bottom line is De Kock still remains top of the heap regardless of who rides for him!!

and it seems like de kock and mawing are also a very proud men.........otherwise with so many jockeys that de kock has used since mawing left without any real success one would have thought they would have buried the hatchet and got back together.....if there was any problems in the first place

I admire each of them for sticking to their guns - both are champions - de kock is still having local winners and i'm sure the turf will shake when he returns from his Dubai trip - he will make up huge ground locally in the durban season (let me add before the wrong impression is created - i have never met either de kock or marwing and the last time i spoke to either on the phone was about 12 years ago) I think de kock finds "people" to assist him in the same way as he picks horses - all of the top trainers seem to have this ability

He is giving youngsters a chance on good rides. Perfect opportunity for them to learn and get good experience riding good horses.

What would happen if he brings back K shea? How many races have they won in Dubai? Nothing wrong with Kshea and Durban is his home ground - maybe he shocks us all and brings down a Uk jock -

that could happen........but why would K shea would want to come back here

not sure where else he has contracted to ride - maybe someone else has that info - HK?
