Can someone tell me please if the swamp that they occasionally use as Greyville racecourse has finally dried out and we can expect good going or will it still be soft?

SR you seemingly need to have had no proper rain for about a month for the entire Greyville track to get dry! lol but, thanks guys... I shall assume it will be good going (tu)

englander i walked the track twice this week and fthe straight looked very chopped up ,from the 1400 m to the entrance of the straight it was only ok ..the back straight was fine besides the strip of turf at the 2400m mark which was ruined by the trucks going over on it for july day...all the best to those punting on the july day hangover meeting

Thanks Pirates... just for my clarification, are you saying it will be "good" but look terrible? or in areas, should we still expect soft patches?

shd definitly be good but the straight looks very chopped up like the lions forward pack have been training on it...the area by the chute where the horses come out looks terrible...
