come elections, vote for ANY PARTY that will undertake to join any others to rescind the legislation and/or refuse to cooperate with SANRAL for their bill collecting, maintenance, etc.

Gauteng is the 2nd Province ripe for kicking this ANC regime out!

I will never risk getting getting arrested or a criminal record over just E-Tolls. Never

there is zero nil nada chance that you will be arrested over E -tolls - The spin created reminds me of my conscript days where the PF's would create weird and wonderful stories to control us. The courts have far more pressing things to worry about than R450 unpaid etolls no matter how the Government Bowlers try to spin this - There are courses of action that need to be followed before you end up in court and the notion that if you don't pay within 7 days they will send "debt collectors " after you is also bull - Imagine you drive on the road once and your toll is R20 - What debt collector will work on such a small fee - Nonsense and was as well thought out as the first Boer War!!

HUGE SANRAL EMBARRESSMENT - FAILURE

Alliance against urban tolling statement at 5pm yesterday that their in-situ electronic sensors confirm 985 322 vehicles passed through William Nicol gantry, only 1339 of them were registered with an e-tag. This is a massive setback for SANRAL

today they must sent out +/- 984000 accounts for payment just for that one ganntry what about the rest

imagine 1) they must now go and trace each persons address, 2 then print invoice 3) then post it and then if you do not pay start legal process and remember each invoice is a different case so on just one gantry and one day they have nearly 1000 000 casses by the end of the week it will be 4 000 000 and that is just one gantry
that exclude cost of printing and posting
there is no way that any company have the capacity do handle this suceesfully not in SOUTH AFRICA

A lot of pensioners money was invested in the above company, the government gave the go ahead and no questions was raised in 2006,as in any agreement payment will come eventually when defaulter will get tired of being stopped and summons. Issued,,as in any case the plaintiff will claim costs and don't be surprised a lot of cars will be in the sheriffs auction.Logistically it will be a huge task,I the finance minister has the last say to avoid this conundrum,in..Fuel and tax will be temporary relief.
