Pirates did anyone of those guys come and see how the horses pulled up? That's the criteria not what they think! Do you really think that they would say anything different? Stupid comment of yours there and one that everyone falls back on that you have not ridden. Does that mean that anyone who has not ridden, knows nothing? That would include you as well then? FH my Owners and Jockey were happy to race so what must we do? All jockeys finished the meeting?

craig to answer your question what you should have done i would say cancel the meeting rather than take the chance. i say cancel be cause scotsville and clairwood no have lights so your oversees agreement can no be honored.

not so long ago we complained about the rained out / cancelled and abandoned meetings in KZN
Now that we raced we on Friday we find something else to complain about
Horses welfare is important and this is the most important thing and as long as all horses pulled up find then we should accept that
Jockeys rode out the meeting, all races were completed , trainers fulfilled their commitment to the owners and owners were happy - all is well
I was on course on Friday and racing continued after the track inspection, I also had a runner and my filly pulled up fine as per my trainer
Just my 2 cents

tell me craig in all honesty how many horses get sent to the racecourse 100 percent sound?imo plenty trainers take chances with there horses and the canter past says it all for me as plenty go down as cripple as a cat....when they come back with chips etc its the tracks fault meanwhile they come into the race with problems..as some breeders say we breed them and trainers smash them
