Giggs is there only for the last few games until the big gun starts next season.

Just read on Twitter that a polite enquiry has been made about the availabilty of Messi.
For what I understand, Barca is wanting to offload.

Anyone else know more about this?

Rather rubbish.. Poor oke gets the boot.. u can only give so much coaching and advice to ur players what they do on the field is their own decision. But i didnt follow this years EPL that closely so what do i know.. All im saying ppl should stop only blaming Coaches.. Like blaming Strydom for not winning on a 3 legged horse..

I agree Doublejim...

Agra, I suppose everyone has their own crowd of followers but most my United supporting friends were overwhelmed with Moyes selection and based on Fergie selecting him they were even more sure about him. He did reasonably well at Everton so guess he had the credentials.

Either United are going against Fergie's "knowledgable opinion" by not giving Moyes more time OR Fergie had no idea what he was talking about... for once! Lol!

As for Messi... I've heard the same but no official info to back it up. I wonder how he will fair in the EPL... but I'm sure he will still want to prove something in the CL so interesting to see what happens if the rumours are true

100% - poor team performance reflects on the Manager and the Manager gets sacked - the team needs a wake up call or leave to greener pastures

Messi would be booted around as EPL much more physical and quicker than Primera Liga where players get space and time on ball...makes Cristiano Ronaldo's achievements in both EPL and Primera Liga all the more impressive...

If he's picking up injuries in Spain now he will be on the sidelines a lot more in England...

What a load of bull.

You get a Ferrari, and drive it like a Toyota.

If the car does not perform to expectation, than you kick the mechanics ass. It is his job to fine tune it.

If a horse does not perform as expected, then it should raise some red flags.

Trainers job is to get a horse race fit, no excuses.

Jockeys job is to ride the horse in a manner that gives it every chance to be competitive

1. Horse is fit and well, jock has a better incentive not to win.
2. Riding instructions from owner/trainer, do not win this race, either because bookies have short priced the horse, no value... Up yours bookies, bide the time and wait for a better price in future runs.

Agra - if a team performs well we say well done to the Manager

If a team performs dismally - we say kak job by the manager

Man U is in this predicament due to the Manager and the players - correct?

If Man U was 2nd on the table - would you blame the Manager? - I can confidently say NO

The team performance is pathetic so half the job is don by sacking the Manager - now get rid of the dead wood and build a new team - everyone says the defense is weak - so they need to fix it

Man U's predicament goes a little further than just the manager

Just my outside view - Liverpool supporter :D

I'm a United Supporter.. Always have been.. true i not been following this years league as closely.. ok i not followed it at all.. but still, this whole trend where u fire the manager for the team playing kak is bullshit.. those players get paid to much.. I say cut their salaries, make them earn the coin by winning games...

Picture below kinda sums up Club Owner mentality now a days..
