It appears as though the Glazers patience has finally run out.
Currently on SKY news he is to be sacked soon with MUFC refusing to comment.

I think this is good for David Moyes. I think there are plenty of "Sleeping Giants" such as Newcastle and Aston Villa who would benefit from having him in charge. I think there is no shame in admitting that that is the level that he works well at: mid-level Premiership clubs. If you work hard and you graft at those clubs, you can earn the players respect. As he did at Everton. But at the very top level you need something more, a presence and authority, which David Moyes is lacking.

Sky Sports News sources say that Moyes could be sacked within the next 24 hours. They are very seldom wrong.

...Prior to Moyes becoming manager...

And I'm assuming it was based on turnover and / or stock valuation...according to Forbes, Man Utd were the highest valued sports club (of any sport) in 2012 and dropped to number 2 behind Real Madrid in 2013...I'm assuming they would have slipped a bit since then due to Moyes intervention and the loss of revenue from not qualifying for Europe...

when football fans talk biggest club we don't talk what the clubs worth. Its how they are on the field. Man United not even in the top 4 on the North West let alone in the world.
