You have a point Neven, but it does not matter how k@k they were this season, United are still better than 13 EPL sides.

Defence is weak. Say no more. rather invest in 3 under 23's for next season and build from there. I say one big Nigerian, and 2 from Uruguay/Argentina/Brazil.

Also 2 midfielders, preferably both Germans or at least one + a south american. Also under 23. Mark my words, the world cup will prove where the strength lies

I think Sir Alex Ferguson should come back next season to steady the ship and do some Man United suited signing. Next season Man United have to finish in the top 4. Firing David Moyes was the best thing that happened to Man United this season.

Sir Alex not a good choice anymore.
He lost the plot 2 years ago and did nothing about it.

Sell a few shares and that covers the loss of revenue from not qualifying for Europe !!! :)

Exactly! By United's standards it's been a poor season but how many seasons did Ferguson have to prove himself and how close was he to getting canned before beating Crystal Palace....

How many other teams in the League structure would call 7th place in the BPL a massive achievement?

Not saying - Moyes has had a good season but there have been worse....
