I have him at 90 at most (and that would mean Top Jet ran above his rating - which he did not quite repeat in the Guineas) - we will see tonight - not saying he can't win - just that he is no odds-on shot

tough card imo, seems like i'll only be playing exotics...no real standout bets....in saying that, futura will win by 5L without my money

If you look into the form of candy Moon and Great Rumpus then you'll find Wild One then look at the Futura and wild One form, You'll find the answer. Banker in all bets

Guys, I think you shouldn't look at Futura as a punting proposition, not tonight anyway. I think his price is irrelevant. He needs to qualify for the Daily News so I would assume he needs to win a race of this nature so that his MR can be considerably raised. He then needs to win or run very close up in the DN in order to get into the July, i assume his ultimate mission for the season.

I know we always want to stick some money on a good thing but this shouldn't be about punting, this is about getting a horse to where it needs to go.

He is under sufferance in this race on official ratings but I think we can all agree that this horse is woefully underrated due to running in a conditions plate last time.

This is not about 7/10 but rather about a potentially very good horse........

Just trying to make sense of the "no value" comments.

I'm not sure I follow :S

I understand the plan from the connections point of view - and from their point of view the price is irrelevant; but from 'us punters' point of view, surely the price is relevant ?
