They mentioned on winning ways she is going for the fillies Gr1 mile on July Day. But then again they also said that Yorker was their selection for the July .....

I would imagine very true. Will walk the Garden Province and have to carry 59kg's in the July. If I owned her I know which race I would go for but would love to see her run in the July.

Perhaps - but she did run a head behind Do You Remember (in last year's Woolavington over 2000) who then ran 3rd in the July - at the weights I would have a go if I were the owners

Hundred percent! They interviewed Woodruff on TT in the morning & he said Yorker was not 100% but would come on for the July, after the run that it put up, I backed it at 7-1.

In the olden days the noms were accepted until the 15 th of April and the weights and draws were then allocated with no adjustments. The betting then took place,no matter what happened between the april month and the july. In fact Prince Florimund could not run in the July because he was not nominated. Then we got the lottery ,extra nominations, late draw, bad jockeys, easy runs to reduce the weight etc.The operator went with the nonsense to keep the race going after destroying the race for the betting public. They should be shot. They forget they get the tax from the punters for evert winning bet that is lain which is over 100 million rand every year for the country.
