For what it's worth, R1, Penny Serenade - this horse beat Trophy Wife three runs back, in receipt of 4.0kgs. Trophy Wife is taking her place in the July!!!

Peep Show ran 3.90 lengths behind Trophy Wife in receipt of 4.0kgs. I think Penny Serenade is a runner in the 1st and at decent odds.

Penny Serenade an unknown quantity on the Poly, whereas Peep Show looks very well in imo if she can repeat her sand efforts on the Poly

Actually think Inara will end up favourite come race time, has the entire field under pressure at the weights. My best bet on the card.

I agree Maleficent looks the banker in the P6, Balance Sheet obvious claims but at the weights and on his last run,, I make Three Balloons a big runner, Inara has had 4 starts at Greyville for a 2nd and a 4th - so I'll be playing to beat her :huh:

Negroamaro has to be the most consistent yet unlucky performer this season. I think she deserves this group 1 despite the 13 draw.....

Point taken regards Peep Show, however I feel Penny Serenade has run to better horses. If taking to the poly, I think she's the one to beat.

At the weights and over a distance more to her liking, Inara will get it right Saturday night.

inara seems to run well below her best rating at greyville plus her stablemate got into all types of trouble last time from a 2 draw and ended up racing 8 wide ..I cant see inara beating silver mountain..her two trips up and down to Gauteng also might have taken the edge off her

I Cant see anything beating Impala Lily.
With a 1 draw and an experienced jockey as well a huge possibility of that tail wind i just can see this one beaten. Taking my chances and taking all my dbls and trebles with Impala and hope that he is a few lenghts clear in the last 50m so i cant shout him home on course and get off to a flyer...

Punta Arenas is the value on the card for me, 3rd run after rest , not far off last time and I cant forget last years July run over same c/d

Palladium is a really promising looking horse with 2 nice wins already, think he will take a lot of beating come Saturday

Agree with Pirates. Silver Mountain must off ran 100m more than the rest of the field last time. She came 7, 8 wide into the straight and just tired at the line, she went past Inara like she was standing still. 3rd run after rest and having improved with each run, I think the old Silver Mountain is coming back and if she does, Inara stands no chance.

But I wouldn't begrudge Negroamaro a grade 1, she does deserve it.
