Surely Alexis at 12/1 must be the value in the Garden Province. Loves the track and trip, bang in form, and meets the runners she beat last time at similar weights. A repeat of that run will see her go very close. She looks a lovely EW play to me.

i like solid speed, black arthur and french navy in that order for the July.

I will prob back black arthur though as my bigger bet bet in the race and solid speed and french navy as smaller cover bets anfd probably a trifecta with 'em.

I fancied The Conglomerate last year and it got into traffic problems around the bend with Schofield up.

Mature 4 year old, decent last 2 runs, IMHO would love the 2200m trip and now Striker up who has won on this horse before and currently 20/1, massive value for me.

When Striker brings home the bacon on Saturday he will be on par with both Ants and Superman with 4 July winners each :woohoo: :woohoo:

Enjoying reading the posts and the different opinions. No other race meeting in SA compares to the July, the best by a long distance. Just look at the number of threads, panel discussions etc.
