Bob

Cost 190k plus vat for both. The rest is for spelling - pre training - training - transports - insurance for at least the next 24 months for both horses.

Dividends (hopefully) from earnings will be paid quarterly

The overall money should last nearly 3 years at current training costs.

Lot 113 cost 50k , sold to lezanne forbes
Lot 116 cost 140k , sold to Gavin Smith .
Thats 190k for both , say + transport 200k for both.

Now for the next 2 years will cost you ( you need to pay all in advance ) 40k per month for the 2 , thats 20k per month per horse 2 years in advance .... and both will only start training in 6 -8 months time.....

That is daylight robbery , ffs

We not interested in monthly collections and admin. There is no mark up on horses there is no fee so pay up front and everyone happy

Sorry also missing half a mill in the calculations some where

113 out of a Announce mare won 3 at 4 Years old - Filly
116 out of an AL Mufti Mare won 2 also over further - Colt

R 100K - 12%

Rather you than me

The math is quite simple really

Cost R190 k

Oratorio know one knows when she will be ready to go into pre training so for now she is on R4k a month in Colesburg that could be any amount of time from then on as stated she will have at least 2 years training and costs covered so could be anything like 40 months

the DOM is a bit more forward and could be in training sooner. Because they come as a pair he could be in FULL training up until they both stop (unless something happens)

So we could have one on the farm and 1 in full trading at the same time. Its never ever going to be a 50/50 split on the money BUT from previous experience its better to be paid up front.

When it is the case of having 1 on the farm and 1 in training of course you have to manage funds accordingly.

So we covered ALL eventualities

as for daylight robbery don't use big words.

My Advice is

ring Craig Eudey
ring Louis Goosen
ring Lezanne Forbes
ring Tienie Prinsloo

ask them if I am a robber as you put it.

After you have rung them retract your slanderous statement and apologise.

Or ill have no alternative than to make this legal.
