Tellytrack tipsters

I was told by an impeccable source that several months ago a quiet word was had with Deez by senior tellytrack management telling him that he cannot tip horses to punters and then back another horse. Apparently he took heed of these instructions. It is a pity that he had to be told the difference between right and wrong. His moral compass should have known better.

I wonder how many of the tellytrack presenters tip one thing and back another? These tipsters usually have an account with the tote and bettingworld. It would be nice if their employers did spot checks on their bets.

Oh ffs

I hope Deez told them to feck off

You tip a horse on form, then for example you are told a runner has a chance, would you not have a bet to cover?

WTF has it got to do with anyone who he (Deez) has a bet on. Its like telling a political analyst who he has to vote for .

When I worked for a few publications as a tipster I would always give the public what I thought would win -but with my own money I would back what I hoped would win or produce the best value for my rand - I would say select 4 in a race and the top one was maybe 3-1 but I might put places on my 4th selection which was 25-1 paying 4-1 a place - I doubt any tipster out there tries to mislead the public as they are a competitive bunch and love to receive accolades when they find the right horse.

IMO you are not worth your salt as a man if you mislead. This is dishonest. FFS we are dealing with punters money. The presenters are supposed to help punters make the right selections and hopefully win money. If you f over the lifeblood of the game, you deserve to be outed. Maybe I got it wrong, tellytrack management is correct and those who think nothing wrong with this are those who have no moral compass. I give you my adios banditos sign out. Please ban me Bob as it looks like the truth is no longer important. I apologise for being straight up.

I think its vital to back anything you tip to people , yes have a cover bet or 5 cover bets but if you select a horse and tell people to back it ( encourage them) then you should back it yourself.

Ive stood by this since my 1st day on tv and will always do this.

Just to emphasis: This thread is based on something that was supposedly said by a supposedly impeccable source, to a poster who thrives on controversy
