The worst card i've seen.
Race 1: No Comment
Race 2: No Comment
Race 3: No Comment
Race 4: No Comment
Race 5: Lebanese Tractor to follow up - would have preferred better odds , so just for the interest.
Race 6: Levi Lady to extend cracking start to season from Gunship
Race 7: Riding Shotgun has been given every chance placed in this very weak race - has to deal with Starcraft Prince and Master Boulder. Questions will be answered if he cannot beat these two , as he's currently riding high on having run 2nd to Broadway Trip - keeping in mind that he didn't make broadway trip work too hard at all - so the odds a bit skinny.
Race 8: My pivot here was Prosperity and offhand seemed to be placed in a soft spot, and should run well here - however Aimee Sweet makes more appeal to me and should be the one to beat. Spanner in the works is Danish Cross on run behind Phillydelphia - depends how that run translates from KZN to Gauteng. I would see the result as Aimee Sweet, Danish Cross and then Prosperity.

Agree Summer Sun looks the best of a really weak bunch -- and could win, but I am not comfortable putting money on weak horses. If one really wanted to comment on the earlier races and get egg in the face - as follows:
Race 1: Purdey if it isn't a first timer
Race 2: Hampton Court under pressure if it isn't a first timer
Race 3: Summer Sun since saheera is scratched
Race 4: Loyal Lieutenant quite easily could be beaten by first timer. - reading the computer form form comments for this bunch makes for some comedy. My bad since there aren't any first timers - but anything could beat him.

A day for Scotia with a few hotties around ...
R1: A first timer will win this - which one is anyone's guess
R2: Hampton Court very hard to beat on exposed form - the first timers would have to be above average to beat him, but King of Pop and Hero's Honour could easily run 2nd and 3rd ...
R3: Summer Sun if fit and well should be right there; Wings of Charne scope for improvement and could challenge with Magical Charm; the others need improvement imo
R4: Loyal Lieutenant can't be opposed on form; the opposition appear very moderate, but if LL somehow falls over, it should lie between Soldat, Mister Lister and London Fog; Caribbean Empire represents a stable in form , tries blinkers after a break, but really needs major improvement to even place
R5: Trappy fillies and mares handicap; just take the field
R6: Also competitive, but Cal's Crush has plenty of scope and should be good enough if fit and ready; if not, any of the others can take advantage
R7: Riding Shotgun on the up and should take a lot of beating imo; Torre del Oro probably the main danger but for me needs 1400; Elvis and myself have Airtaxi running, and while we are hopeful (stable seems confident of a 'good run'), I personally think he needs 1400 - but we live in hope
R8: Very tough fillies and mares handicap to close, and as per the betting not much splitting the top 6 and anyone can come out on top with some luck in running
Enjoy
