Racing Injustice exposed

I was asked a question yesterday regarding ABC and its users, basicly we are regarded as unjust complainers that are bad for racing, let use this thread to do something that can be concidered good for the industry, let's expose people behind industry injustice and give the oppressed party a voice.

here are some of the answers to yesterdays question;;

For me its not as much the racing that "Us People" are upset about, is about the people and attitude behind many incidents like the upholding of a false/fake objection and the attitude of the perpetrators afterwards, they say they are entitled to scheme and try win it in the board room, is this how we run our Racing, where is customer protection?? to me that is outright theft and sadly the public have no industry recourse, also the using of races to give horses runs is against the rules but hey who cares,,, the people running the industry are abusing the status quo and we get asked why are we complaining,, I can go on and on about the way they have turned the Racing game into their OWN personal 8 Star gravy train,,,, its the Dishonesty in many forms including telling of outright lies,, the Arrogance,, the Double Standards,, the Abuse of Power by people employed by the industry who should be serving the industry,, a group or gang work as a clique so there is no justice for the people targeted, I can go into detail with many occurrences, names of victims like Andrew Bon and Shaeen Shaw can attest to this,,, As we have seen in the last few days many people's lives are in tatters because of "dishonesty",, it's evil and has dire consequences,,,,the Arrogant and disrespectful way the current Racing industry mob/gang treat contributors and supporters of the game is a huge problem, yet they know how to kiss the right ass,, high positiioned personel have got their jobs via the buddy buddy system overriding more experienced people and once they are in power the abuse of power starts,,, the my way or the Hi Way attitude has many victims on its belt,, this type of behavior occurs when one group thinks they are superior,,, it's made easy for them by the current system being basicly leaderless and the attitude that as long as we make a profit all is justified, but is it ? There is no systems in place to deal with corprate bulling and abuse of powerso that is the purpose of this thread,, to give people a voice to stand up to these bullies, expose them instead of keeping quiet,,

Rob Scott runs a message on TT about Piracy regarding bookmakers using TT picture "illegally", he says its morally wrong but does he say one word when Disgracebook copies Formgrids,, we provided industry info for 14 years with great sacrifice and suffering and lack of industry support and assistance,, now loyal staff, who for their good work can be jobless over Christmas if all associated with Disgrace book get their way,,

Different opionins about but if they persist I may have to,, i have spoken to one of the owners suggesting they design their own system of showing form and not copy mine, he said he would speak the others involved and let me know

Regarding the views on abc......mix an afternoon, of drinking, punting and losing money on the races and you have the perfect environment for some disenchanted to lash out at anyone in authority, other users and anyone else who seems to be successful, or having fun.

I am sure 10 years ago the problems you mention here, were being lamented on this forum, and the users were venting their frustrations and angers on one another.

Is it a forum conducive to bringing about change in the industry, a forum to discuss and enjoy a virtual day at the races with friends, celebrating each others success, just as though one was at the races, is it just a tipping forum, or a place for those who cannot actually win at the races to dump on others.


To be fair formgrids was doing well, and could have done with some business modelling for its long term sustainability...the current problem is directly attributed to the lack of an effective back.up regime,.

It is my view....especially in my currently disenfranchised position in South Africa....that nothing external , including any organization, has the desire or will to ptovide or assist me with anything. It is better to focus inwards, leverage your own strength and resolve, and find success against the odds. As guilty as they may be, appealing, or blaming, is going to go nowhere....will just fall on deaf ears. It is fruitless to spend years pleading and begging upon deaf ears.

It is also imo naive to imagine that any of us can arrest the free falling degradation of morality and ethics in the world in which we live. People will jump to the defense of the criminal and unscrupolous at the drop of the hat, and everyone else will become caste.

As to the way forward... many on this forum have offered you assistance, myself included. If i had to spend an afternoon, or a week if evenings backfilling data into your database , i would...at no charge.others have also offered assistance. As i see it there is no lack of support ....except in the quarter you seem intent on exteacting it from.. accept and use the help being offered here.

My opinion of abc is that it.s a horse racing information dissemination site, aligned more to punting than other aspects of racing like ownership, training, etc.....some of the insidrrs here seem to be caste with aexes to grind against the establishment. As much as the idea is that of rebellion in the interest of racing...it sometimes seems like grudges being exersized by some who have not foubd acceptance in the establishment.

Readiing much of the comnentary on this site from an objective perspective, it is not hard to see why the establishment would have a negative view of the forum.

I post the above fully aware that there will likely be the normal venemous backlash.

This is a great forum, for talking about the days racing and sharing banter witb others with a similar interest....i dont think at this late hour it could be more than that. But thrre is an overiding sense of bitterness, anger, jealousy, and anti establishment present all the time, thst detracts from the positives.

Lets talk racing punting, lets buy horses as a group, lets race them, lets share and celebrate the achievements of the members, and have less of the gleeful, green bashing and judging of people. We have seen pages and pages of gleeful finger pointing at the fall of individuals, when in fact we all including myself have been guilty of indiscretions, misdemeanours, perhaps even crimes, etc. The law will take its course, those cheating, stealing, drugging horses will all eventually fall foul of their own deeds without our assistance.

Lets be better than someone who can only express joy, bitterness, envy towards others that seem more successful than we are.

I have myself got the point on thus forum where contributing is not worth the risk of abuse, and insults, or the risk of offending acute sensitivities of some on the forum who hardly comment but to to attack or insult.

Its a pity, posting here has been one of my most reverred pleasures, has taken me from a losing punter to a dusciplined , well informed and profitable punter in a matter of months., and there are so many fantastic and knowledgable people here.

super post adam in fact post of the year for me..people should wish upon others as they wish for themselves and its a shame one or two on here have this bitter twisted mind that makes them so happy for others wrongdoing..in fact these few individuals are the ones who need serious help

Some people need to understand what this man has done to the futures of millions of South Africans because of his greed. Stop being confused about why people are GLEEFUL that he has fallen. He has never been good for anyone but Markus Jooste and his chosen few.

Stuff him hope he sits a long time and takes those that he enabled with him.

Adams we don't have the luxury of the German authorities at our disposal,, unfortunately there is no law or recourse in Racing,, it's us who have to stand up to the ongoing abuse however unpleasant it may be
