I thought he answered the difficult question "what makes racing different to a casino"?
Vee answered very well and hopefully still puts racing in with a fighting chance.

If this is true( no government contact), then how did they organise SA colours for the jockeys and SASCOC involvement with racing( I think ot was the triple crown) a few years ago.

Let's be honest, Vee's predecessors weren't exactly the Einsteins of Racing...
Vee brings a very wide experience to the job and I have no doubt that he will be networking and building vital bridges as he rolls into the job.
Just as we are thankful that JZ is not in charge of SA during Corona, we can be thankful that Vee's predecessors arent around right now.
We hold thumbs !

Do some research into GRIDE Investments and your question will be answered.

Ah makes complete sense now. More to that than meets the eye though. I know some of the players because of involvement in sports bodies and board level since 1992. The cash cow in this instance being the Lotto disbursements and board members having multiple roles. Skeletons everywhere.
