Good run by *Elusive Mata on Tuesday in 2nd. Always the bridesmaid.

One runner at Fairview on Friday. Nothingelsematters in race 4. Very open race with some improving younger horses, but he is quite consistent this track and always in with a shout.

fair run by Nothingelsematters in 5th not beaten too far on a tough day for punters.

Three runners at Durbanville on Saturday.
*Golden Ideal in race 2 is 2nd reserve so unlikely to get a run. Needed debut run badly and slow away so improvement expected butt will need this and further.
Flying Bomb in race 4. Some improvement last time and if he handles the step up in trip could improve further. Gets a nice draw after the scratching. A roughie that is worth chucking into quartets.
Call to Unite in race 7. One of 4 Snaith runners. bounced back to form last time but needs to see out the 2000m trip. Competitive race, but he should still have scope for improvement and has a nice galloping weight. I think that Rachel will suit him.

One runner at Turffontein on Saturday.
Stroopsoet in race 2. Wide draw and she needs to learn to settle. Poplar Park is the one to beat but if she behaves, could run a place.

Reading the Sporting Post article suggests how special she must have been for you, Peter.
especially as she gave Elusive Fort his first graded stakes winner as a broodmare sire.
thank you for the trip down memory lane. I’m sure there are many out there like me that marvel at your success over the years and when you post here how your obvious love for what you do shines through.

Good win by Stroopsoet. Keeps the mare’s 100% winners to foals record. She is clearly quite hot, but for once settled nicely.

One runner at Vaal on Thursday. Hokaai my Meisie in race 1. Not the strongest of fields and she is a year older than most of them. Showed good pace last time and this 1000m may be the right move. Hoping that she can fight out the finish.

Had our 3rd foal of the season yesterday- nice filly by Kommetdieding out of Sylvie, so a half sister to Sarah and Almond Sea.
