It is on another thread but after a long frustrating time it appears the new team can eventually take over the reigns.

Good luck and Good Punting 👍

So 26% will be gifted to some BEE lot who if history is anything to go by will contribute ZERO to the sport. I am hoping that instead of giving it to the connected politicians, 4racing will give the entire 26% to grooms.

I find it strange that Slack is singled out in the way that she has been. Have the sins of the fathers come into play here?

It must be a.massive embarrassment for 4 racing to have their hand picked Chairman disqualified. Who was responsible for putting an ineligible person's name forward?

Let's hope that 4racing improve on their pitiful communication up to now.

4Racing Press Release

Major step forward as 4Racing granted operating licences by Gauteng Gambling Board

Johannesburg, 13 November 2021

4Racing is pleased to confirm that it has now been granted all operating licences by the Gauteng Gambling Board to pave the way for it to assume management of Highveld Racing operations.

The Gauteng Gambling Board on Friday 12 November 2021 granted 4Racing the transfer of the Totalizator, Bookmaker and Race Meeting licences from Phumelela Gaming and Leisure Limited at Turffontein Racecourse.

This follows the transfer of licence approvals received by 4Racing from the Mpumalanga Economic Regulator, the Eastern Cape Gambling Board, the Western Cape Gambling and Racing Board and the Free State Gambling, Liquor and Tourism Authority.

“The transfer of the operating licences from the Gauteng Gambling Board to 4Racing is a major step forward for the South African horse racing industry. It gives 4Racing the opportunity to bring stability to the industry and to the over 1000 people currently employed by Phumelela. We have been hard at work in preparation for the granting of all licences we have applied for and for the completion of the transaction with Phumelela and we will soon share more concrete details of our future vision,” said 4Racing Chief Executive Officer, Fundi Sithebe.

In compliance with Gauteng Gambling Board licence conditions, 4Racing’s Chairperson, Mxolisi Zwane, has agreed to step down from his position.

Some very disturbing news about 4racings new broadcast and streaming guys

TelkomONE streaming service – A disappointing mess mybroadband.co.za/news/broadcasting/3747...appointing-mess.html

BCX Telkom, is their new connectivity provider , they seem to be in big shit

Telkom burning through billions while warning signs pile up
Telkom argues this is due to 'an increase of R1.1 billion in capex paid in the period under review' www.citizen.co.za/business/business-news...rning-signs-pile-up/

All this on top of the split at Tellytrack
