Does anyone think MRS GERIATRIX can bounce back in the WSB CAPE FILLIES GUINEAS ?

Last run was too bad to be true....... yest 1st time in CPT..... Durbanville.. now KENILWORTH.

YES I know she has a shocking draw of 13....... hopefully Richard can bounce her out & get her to run handy, midfield.... ready to pounce..

To me 11 / 2 is a bloody good price for this filly....... just the draw is a worry. were there any excuses last time so bad ? not acclimitised ?
Let's not forget she is the class horse in the race....... a 6 time winner on the trot !

My money will be on Mrs G.

Why the betting DRIIIIIFT last time Mrs. G 7 / 10 out to 14 / 10 out almost Double...... wat was the rumour out ? was there a rumour ??

IMVHO I will not punt Mrs Geriatric but wish the backers and owners all the best.

Imo the draw is not Mrs Geriatrix's only problem - the trip of 1600 also will probably stretch her

A horse drawn just as wide, Beach Bomb, for me is the value.

Last time out, that race was run at a slow pace, and the pace-setter dictated the pace and won (Royals). Based on times and in comparison to the two other races run over the same distance, Royals would have finished some 8 lengths off the horse with the fastest time on the day.

Beach Bomb was having her second run after a rest, but found a good finish. If there is a decent pace, which i am hoping there is, the wide draws can hopefully be negated.

Mrs. Geriatrix, last time out, first tun in the province and at the course, probably be better prepared this time around, also not without a chance, but will row in with Beach Bomb.

I do also give Beach Bomb a chance - but will also need luck in running - being boring, but I think the favorite has it all going for her :huh:

Beach Bomb definitely in my QUARTET.

Think will BOX a few - rather than try to be clever.

I see bookmakers have priced up Charles Dickens around 4/10. Even though this is his favourite course and distance I hardly think it's a punt at the price !
