what a load of crap. no one runs any show- its about respect for the more older experienced jocks. Racing is clean 99% of the time- if you dont believe that then dont play and stop moaning about jocks not trying or trying to run the show, maybe in the past it might have been the case but not now. if it were so easy to be corrupt why they all still waking up at 4 to go to work.... cos its their living and they have to do it, they may punt a few that win but at the end of the day we study form and its all out there to see.

Roger here is a scenario which I have seen so many times .

Same Stable has two runners .

One is a 10/1 and the other is a 40/1 .

10/1 has decent form . 40/1 has crap form .

10/1 gets backed into 33/10 , 40/1 drifts to 50/1 .

Bear in mind that there are R25000 claims on the 10/1 .
40/1 shits in and 33/10 shot runs no where .

On interview Trainer says he is dumbfounded . 50/1 showed no work at home .

Next few races 50/1 starts at 5/1 , 33/10 , 28/10 and runs no where .

I guess the 50/1 just decided to run for its life on that day .

And don't give me bull about trainers not getting horses pulled up if their price is stolen . I know quiet a bit of trainers that have done and continue to do this.

I know quiet a bit about jockeys working our their PA's the night before .
I know plenty of jockeys that have punters punting for them .
I know plenty of jockeys that have ruined punters lives .

Thats why a stable must have a stable jock that earns enough to not worry about punting and a apprentice whose willing to learn from the stable jock . Our senior jocks must be role models to the young chaps who are just starting their trade.

Their is a cheat in every sport .
