Monkfish was superb. Now for Envoi Allen to win and set up a match next year with Monkfish.

Good luck to the £5 punter on Envoi Allen to scoop over £500k. Should take the cash out of £275k and run

100% probability of 275 000 pounds...

About 70% probability of 500 000 pounds...4/9 on betting but when one adds in fences, opposition and any number of misfortunes that can occur during a race, that 70% probability is closer to 50% or less...

Take the money and enjoy the race with an expensive beer in hand and a fine whiskey to celebrate when it runs 2nd...:cheer:

You were spot on with your analysis. Clairvoyant

@naresh...not much of a clairvoyant as the favourite didn't run second !!

Just happy he took the money...I've experienced multiples where the longer priced come in and the short priced gets beat...most recently took a multiple leg sports bet and the shortest priced was Dmitrov against Karatsev in the Aus Open and he gets injured and decides to continue the match rather than retire...that's how things go...

Again, just happy for him...

Race 5 The Shunter crunched in to 5 /2. I haven't been impressed with his jumping over fences. Small appie claims 3kg, who knows. I choose to pass, too many cons.

Her done is not down yet. If Assemble does not fall then it has a massive chance of winning at 20/1and then Telmesomthingirl also a huge runner at 5/1

Had a fair day but won’t advertise my winning bets as I don’t want to join in on our resident ARMs parade.

Day 3 over and only Gold Cup day to come.

What can one say ALLAHO, ALLAHO can you TELMESOMETHINGGIRL?
How good are you RACHAEL BLACKMORE, I watch you fall at the last when going well but that winner put up some performance when almost tailed off.
Reminded me of Wichita Lineman.
Hope you are well lassie and you are certainly the real deal.
Beware of anything she rides on day 4 and any other race meeting.
You must consider Rachel is now on the current Gold Cup fav, A Plus Tard.

I have to say the bookies have hit the front and Envoi Allen fall must have been a crucial result on many ATCs with the exception of the punter that “cashed in “ on his massive ATC before the race.

I am afraid Paisley Park could not produce his normal flying finish as the Irish totally dominate the festival.

My back is slightly to the wall as we head into the last day.
I will probably stick with Champ and not one to have a cover bet but Native Prince must be a good cover bet ew .

We still have 7 races to balance the scales.
I am considering that the Nathaniel gelding ZANAHIYR can win the opener but the top 5 in the betting have ran 14 times for 13 wins and one second, makes it a tough field.

For the backers of Envoi Allen, I cant take away the pain but remember Annie Power was the last banker for many (including Scotia) when we all played the ATC certs...........

Still have sleepless nights after all these years 😪
