Wednesday at Uttoxeter
2.05 lost in monmatre 1ptew 5/1 min
Excellent yard, sound jumper, best from the front and chance to make all here, harried at rapid pace when well backed Sedgefield latest, this looks easier and decent ground ideal in very weak race at more galloping track, has got form on good to soft if eases a touch and strong ew appeal here with the dead eight….friary rock the form danger with Hughes up
20 7 5 20 7/2 7/2 14 9
Horses of interest
2.40 red force one 4+
4.20 judge earle 5/4+

Appleby lad thinks Modern Dancer 2.25 Doncaster is a good thing in his first nursery off of 85. Also said the one they run in 6.00 Kempton should go well providing she doesn’t play up at the start. She works nicely but has had issues going in the stalls at home. Probably best to see how she behaves first and take a price in running.
Manaafith 7.00 Varian lad thinks this is thrown in off of 84 potentially pattern class and will win 7/4. Been off the track 10 months but has done plenty of work and won’t be beaten by lack of fitness.
Tough race but Burkes 4.45 Doncaster Monty Man 14/1 will run a big race. 2nd try over 1 mile (not knocked about last time) yard think this Rooney horse could be well treated off 74. No great vibes re Menusiers Pure Gold and Botti’s Maximilian Caesar. Fav looks the one they have to beat but is priced accordingly at 9/4.

Cork
510pm Congo river brings clear standard in here on Navan run but I would be very wary of him at short odds on testing ground…Jer Batt the alternative at the prices and he looks bred to go on the ground…
545 Pretty rebel put in at incredible prices overnight…she should have been just about Fav for me…the only worry is that she could get marooned on the far side although there is pace over there…Stable mate Fastar goes well fresh and will handle the ground looks worth a saver
645 Preference for Goa Gajah under the conditions but it’s a tidy little race…
715 Miracles in May ideally needs another furlong but on straight track on the ground she might get away with it…Belardeen had no chance of backing up nice handicap debut last day the way track was riding from stall 1…both worth EW bets…front end have their chances but priced in

As a mark of respect all remaining races to have been abandoned following the queen's passing
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

I suspect that all racing and sport will be shut down until after the weekend and then again on the day of the Queens funeral
