Rab Havlin is a journeyman of note. Hopefully he gets his first Group 1 on Commissioning the filly who is odds on favorite.

Well done Havlin. Almost 50 years. Never too old to have your dream come true.

Nice one for Rab he says "Frankie needs to get banned more "
We have a day without power cuts for the first time in 58 days.
So we can watch what we want today.
Newmarket is the best where William now on 150 for season can continue booting them home.
Flying Honours in the opener.
Desert Order can also win.
Plenty other meetings jumps and flat
Mcfabulous runs at Chepstow
Good Punting

The boys in blue are out in force at Newmarket today, including James Doyle back after recovery from wrist fracture!
Riding OTTOMAN FLEET in R 7 should go well.
I see that the greatest trainer in the world has brought 3 over from Ireland for the big H'cap and has engaged very good appie, Saffie Osborne, to ride GIBRALTAR carrying 51.5 kgs, after allowance.Latest price 10/1.
Good punting to all.

William Buick
Racing Post
There is simply no stopping him.
The champion jockey-in-waiting was in peerless form at Newmarket on Future Champions weekend with a cracking six winners over the two days, five of which came for his Godolphin boss Charlie Appleby and the other in the Group 2 Challenge Stakes on Pogo for Charlie Hills.
After adding another at Goodwood on Sunday, his tally of 156 winners is more than 60 clear of nearest title challenger Hollie Doyle and higher than the winning total in six of the seven years since the championship was shortened to its Guineas-Champions Day timeframe in 2015.

Final flat meeting at Musselburgh today. I am thinking of attending as it’s a sunny day, so far, but cold.
Brazilian Beach and Global Humour will pay for the day

I don’t see Kyprios in the ante-post betting for the Long Distance Cup on Saturday. He was in there yesterday.
