Not too bothered who they pick as the Proteas will win as the English will now think that all they have to do is turn up, like every World Cup.

If vernon / steyn is fit will go straight in
No front line spinner?
Yep I expect a real green mamba @ newlands. Quick and lots of bounce. If you forced me to pick a spinner although piedt did good I still prefer imran tahir more attacking and ls always trying has done well in a recent game took 8 wickets if am not mistaken.
but which batsmen would you drop as our top 7 are really fragile atm.. bowling attack is going to miss steyn as their is a 2 day turn around to the next game an doubt vern will be ready.
I look to morkel to lead the attack with morris and rabada backing him up . Abbott will get a bit of movement and will play a holding role but am sure he will get a lot more assistance from the pitch @ newlands so he will be more affective.
If they have to choose a spinner the will most likely Choose piedt again( although I would like tahir to get a game) and they would keep morris as 12th man.
That's how I see it what your team chicken?

Astonishing that Duminy has been dropped. On his home ground. Morris and Radaba could be the shock factor that rattles England batsman, we can only hope

It's going to be very hard for your team sunshine.
The track is very dry and will rough up for 2nd innings.
Winning the toss was a big advantage.2-0

Looking at your selections, are we playing one day or 20-20 cricket?
Desperate by your selectors.

Don't know what all the grinding of teeth was regarding Radaba. For only 20 years old to put in such an effort only says that he will be one of the greats in time to come. He will be a major player. 500 test wickets when his career ends

Sunshine,
Its come to my attention that the indigenous people of South Africa tend to be meek and quiete until you start taking a few of blightys wickets.
Is it true that South Africans are terribly bad losers?

20,000 at the test today and 12,000 were English.
Why dont South Africans support their country? Then you could vent your frustration at your captain. Some of he's decisions were mind bogglingly awful.

I concur Chicken. He is hugely talented, and he definately has a bright and long career ahead of him. I didn't watch any cricket yest (decided to spend the day out at sea as it was a beaut of a day, weather wise).. The guys must of been knackered come end of play...I saw on the news they declared it a heatwave in the Cape.
In a few years (Post Steyn, Philander and Morkel), Rabada will be leading our attack with De Lange (who imo, has been seriously unlucky not to get more games under his belt).
