Take a bow Glen Maxwell. One of the best, if not the best ODI innings chasing and a double century to boot.

Hats off to Cummins for playing a patient but important supporting role.

Incredible stuff.

And to think that (in addition to the dropped catch) he was on his way off the pitch after reviewing a lbw decision - which somehow was shown to bounce just too high - when it's your day, it's your day - I wonder how many times an incredible knock follows a simple dropped catch

Frodo in that ashes match at Headingley Stokes was plumb LBW but the Aussies had already used up their reviews and the rest is history

Yip it would take a miracle for the Proteas to make the final - can't believe that no-one in the camp said 'let's bowl first' with the conditions - just no confidence in chasing a score :(

Only hope now,

Example 1: Match starts at 50 overs per side and there is an interruption at 19 overs. Overs are reduced to 46 overs per side and play is about to resume. Before another ball is bowled it rains and play is abandoned for the day. As the match did not resume under the revised overs, the match should continue on the reserve day at the original 50 overs per side with the overs reduced if necessary during the reserve day.

Example 2: The same start as in example 1 i.e. match starts at 50 overs per side and there is an interruption at 19 overs. Overs are reduced to 46 overs per side and play is about to resume. This time, play starts and after an over has been bowled it rains and play is abandoned for the day. As the match has resumed, it is continued on the reserve day at 46 overs per side with the overs further reduced if necessary during the reserve day.

That gives a SA who are being totally outplayed a 2nd chance, not fair on the Aussies

They keep on making the same mistakes

Philander playing in the 2015 semi final when clearly unfit
Bavuma playing today when unfit

agree that bavuma is unfit--but not because of injury

after taking the 33/10 and the 9/2 after 3rd wicket and 13/2 after 4th w, start taking the7/20 on aus etc

oops another wicket - where's the promised rain?
