Hi Everyone.

Im new here. Name is Steven, 26 years old from Durban.
My earliest betting memories is sitting in the school holidays (aged +/-10) with my great gran playing the P/A, doubles and swingers. I remember listening to the commentary and results on the radio. Her favourite double was 4x2 and i often have little nibble on that combo in her memory.
I dreamt one night about Robbie Fradd i think it was and phoned my gran in the morning before school. He rode something like 6 winners that day if i remember correctly.
I never ever followed horse racing after school but went to the July for the first time last year and a couple of night races at greyville after receiving some comp tickets from a supplier at work and that got the juices flowing again! lol

Been following this forum for awhile now, learning from all the discussions, and playing some small bets.

Hope to learn alot more!

Im Mark from Amanzimtoti, am 39 and have been punting for 31 years. My late father taught me and he often used to take my pa's on those carbonised tickets (red for pa and blue for jackpot, I think and no %'s or pick 6) I remember when I was about 9 I caught a pa 16x collecting just over R900. Wow in those days that was a fortune. Have been involved in a few horses over the years but only lucky with 1 ho won 3 times and placed 21 I think. Love this game

Have registered on the site for a while and have followed it very closely. Decided now to make my self known. Anthony Govender is my name and I come from North Beach in Durban. I love Horse Racing and have followed the game since I was 16... Have made a lot of good friends along the way and would one day like to be a part owner in a horse as I would love to experience the thrill of seeing my horse run and cheer him on. I love the humor and good spirts of the guys at ABC and would like to commend those responsible for maintaining and keep this site clean.... The July has always eluded me (Like Lloyd) but last year I got it spot on with BCL. I still remember the day when Jamican Music won the July in 1976 (My Brother backed it with all he had). The party lasted a Month.....
