I too was surprised at the Red card, taking into account the position on the field where it happened, the intent etc. But saying that the foot was raised and studs were showing so the Refs decision was lawfully correct, even an ex MU capt, Roy Keane, thought it was a Red Card offence. I have noticed that in the UEFA games the English teams are penalised for incidents that they are not when playing in the EPL.
To my surprise MU were the better team up to the sending off. Bad luck MU supporters.

Well i am in absolute disagreement with you. His team selection fitted his plan and t was working to perfection. Mu looked the most dangerous on the break, their keeper was hardly troubled and they were a goal up. . . What more do you want???

Roy Keane is as usual talking shite,he was a shite manager and is a shite pundit.
Ever since he's fallout with SAF he continues to be controversial regarding he's old team.
There will be a backlash from the fans regarding that statement.
How many times would Happy have been sent off if that decision was replicated when he played.
As you can tell I'm not a fan of Keane, every time I look at him I think of what he did to Alffe Halands leg that ended he's career.

If Sir Alex had his best players on the pitch, Nani would not have had a chance to get sent off. Got to respect the man hugely, but he got this one wrong.

I had to take the mickey out all the Utd supporters in the office...
They all say, but Chelsea got knocked out in the group stages - and I says well Chelsea got as much chance of Utd winning the Champs league...
< love it!!!!
Chelsea to spoil the double hopes too!!! with FA Cup -- will be back to back losses for Utd at Trafford!!!
Drop another 4K on the Red Devils!!!

Well thats the treble gone. City will win the FA Cup and United will just hold on for the league. Best long shot double: QPR to stay up and City to win the league especially after Betfred paid out a month ago
