Yeah that's something Man U don't talk about, their europe achiements over Liverpools..
Liverpool, Real and Barca are the only teams to have the Champions League trophy having won it 5 times or more..

I don't often say anything positive about the scum but one has to say in complete fairness, excluding the last time they won it which was just bizarre to say the least, a bit like Swansea winning the Carling Cup, that their Euro Cup record is to be fully acknowledged as pretty exceptional. Not only did they win it relatively frequently, they did so when it was a knock-out competition from the outset and when you had to be champions to compete, thus offering them much less opportunity than the likes of Utd, Arsenal etc recently (as they have been much too sh1t in recent years to get close to qualifying). They were without doubt an outstanding team before Sheza was born

Sure Man United were hard done by, But what a childish reaction by Ferguson. When his side benefits from a dodgy call by the ref that results in them winning then he is quick to say "its swings and roundabouts" and just scofs at suggestions that the ref got it wrong. He and his team may be immune to EPL refs but the European refs aren't influnced by his bull. Move on you were conned and you lost because as sure as the sun comes up tomorrow morning before the season is out United will get a favourable decision that will win them a match they are losing.

An 18 year old Manchester United fan called 999 to get the ref arrested for sending off Nani last night.
This morning Kent police spoke to the lad and gave him a warning for wasting police time.

CnC, I am sure you will be delighted to know I have found another manager who makes Fergie look saint-like in comparison!! (tu) For anyone else reading, you are probably not interested lol and my apologies in advance for boring anyone.
The Juventus manager (Antonio Conte) is currently serving a 10 (reduced to 4?) month touchline ban for not telling authorities about two instances of match-fixing while he was manager at Siena. (Juventus were of course themselves relegated, fined etc a few years ago for their prominent role in the match-fixing scandals). Conte continues to have tantrums about the ban despite being told by a law court judge that he was lucky it wasn't a three year ban. He is also not immune from the media ban sickness that affects many a manager. Indeed only last year this was reported (copied and pasted)...
Juventus manager Antonio Conte enforced a media ban on Saturday, refusing to speak ahead of his side’s clash with Genoa on Sunday. The Italian was sent to the stands in Wednesday’s 1-1 Serie A draw with Bologna for complaints made when he felt his side should have been awarded a penalty. Conte was angered by the subsequent one-match touchline ban and insisted he would not speak to the media as a result, with assistant coach Angelo Alessio speaking instead.
But let us not be too harsh on Conte. It would seem somewhat hypocritical and childish to single him out. After all, the disgraceful match-fixing part aside, it is a passionate game and lots of managers react during and after games etc in ways we often find ridiculous. So what? No real harm done and it can be very amusing. Just the other day, Conte himself joked... "If Lennon complains about the referees, perhaps he is a coach who can come to Italy because here we all complain!" Hmmm maybe that would explain why Juventus and a few others "influenced" the referees then :S
