I think CTN will win the race, but what is the criteria on which the above statement can be (fairly) judged? Anything but a win, he doesn't stay, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th, he does stay - he has to run outside the top four. I feel your proposition is somewhat vague. Redefine the rules, and you may have some takers. Be careful though, he could run a distant 2nd, 3rd or 4th, and you'd have a legal battle on your hands:D

@Bayern and jcl. . What u guys smoking? Bushy just offeing 4/1 on CTN for the Daily News. The stretch is based on his opinion that the horse don't stay. He is not offering odds on whether the horse stays or not . . .fark me sidewaze. Is time to use the bat more liberally to knock some sense in these okes.

Magi, i think you missing the intention of his proposal - you take the 4/1 and the horse wins, you will lose the bet/your money. Two scenarios, CTN runs another short head second, what is BUSHY'S verdict (stayed, did not stay) or CTN runs 3 or more lengths in second place, once again, what will be BUSHY'S verdict? He is certainly not offering 4/1 CTN will win the race. As matters stand right now, anyone who takes up Bushy's proposal is on a hiding to nothing because the rules are so vague.

Dangerous talk Bushy :-) I think CTN will do just fine over the distance. Saturday's not far off so let's wait and see.

On tuesday, post race interview,RFradd said Yorker is suited to the Tuffortein tracks,he gives his horse a chance, despite the wide draw.

The DK stable has been missing the winners box here recently.

This Dailey News has a strong field. How does one read the race?
who will set the pace?No Worries?same tactics as Kra Guineas?
I know Tellina will be towards the rear,so the bad draw wont mean much.

One jockey has been off sick with the flu for a few meetings, doubt he might recover fully to be fighting out the finish on the fancied horse.

As for omens, last time the owner of Love Struck forfeited his entry for the Two Oceans to lead in his Classic winner.
Sunday he contests the Comrades.

Welcome to the Sage stable, serious contender in the Wool.
Also great watching J Soma's interview on Winning Ways.
