Aaaaaah Shrek, "the rub of the green" must be the most painful slogan in horseracing. Very painful...

I bet Twitter and the various blog-sites have been red hot with this issue through the night. Just one more drama to add to a match that has had more drama already than a month of Isidingo.
I LOVE TEST CRICKET!! There's nothing like it in all of the other sports put together.

The good start had faded a bit ... Aus are six down at stumps. But Agar the 'Orrible is still there so who knows what today will bring?

That's not a bad promotion from 11 to 8 after 1 test innings. (tu)

Been trying to tell people that for years bud, carry on spreading the word and lets get rid of so much of this limited overs stuff and have, for example, 5 tests England-SA. For the neutral I am sure that was top entertainment though, for a die-hard like me, I confess there were plenty times I couldn't watch.
Poor performance by England overall but Anderson once again showed what a fine bowler he is and Bell was fantastic for England in the 2nd innings. Great efforts by the two Aussie No 11s and I thought Hughes (1st) and particularly Haddin (2nd) both played an excellent innings.
Anyway, well done to you (and me) on a winning bet, paid for my correct score series bets (tu). Roll on Thursday...

''Ban Broad, says former Windies great Holding''
Holding said the ICC should view Broads decision not to walk in the same light as when West Indies wicketkeeper Danesh Ramdin falsely claimed a catch against Pakistan in a Champions Trophy match at The Oval in London last month.
Ramdin was banned for two one day games by the match referee--Broads father, Chris.
Fridays incident was not the first time a member of the Broad family had been involved in an an umpiring decision controversity.
Chris Broad, when an England opening batsman, stood his ground for a minute after being given out caught behind by local umpire Shakeed Khan in the first test against Pakistan at Lahore in 1987. Eventually Graham Gooch, his partner, now Englands batting coach, persuaded him to walk off the field.
Is winning at any cost now the norm ??

No disrespect to anyone but nothing like starting the day with a good bit of nonsense (
What is the difference between what Broad did compared to (for eg) what Clarke and Haddin did in the Aussie 2nd innings? Its a trick question of course because there is no difference. All three hit the ball and waited for the umpire's decision. The difference in the scenarios is that England still had reviews and used them.
How can us pommies celebrate gg... with a few beers usually :)o
