The big question is how many other horses are in the CAMP and in what condition are they Yip Jaap, Rockspider and Red Feather have been saying for a long time all is not well with that stable:(

of course this is done be cause the operator who pay all the money want some one who will agree to every thing that they the operator want. if you the stupid in charge earn millions for do bugger all what will you do? you dont shake the barrel? is no wonder people say what they say. racing is be come the disgrace if i compare this to be fore phumelela and nhra come play there games. is the games for pals and family. no the game where the horse is put first and things get sort out.

if i were an owner in the Visser stable I would move my horse asap

Should the RA not step in here as they do represent owners in this Jurisdiction?? or should they not play a part in cases like this??

I have been questioning the activities of the NHA for years.
They reported to parliament that they answer to nobody!
That tells me they are appointed by the operators who pay them .....but to also regulate them????
The fact that they answer to nobody is why they achieve nothing!!!!!

Ok we all saying more or less the same thing ( RA,NHRA,SPCA) should step in etc etc.... now we all use alias's on the forum but who of us Know's any person/persons that either work for these body's or you no a friend of a friend type of thing so they can let us no what the hell they gonna do about the kak that is happening there .... as we can chit chat all day long and nothing gets done asap... remember we only looking at this one Horse in the video and who know's there could be another one that could be in similar condition...........Guys what im asking is that action needs to be NOW, not when the second or third one falls..

This story should of been headline news on that TAB website, instead they run with which horses to banker at the vaal today. I'm sorry but it just shows what a gutless bunch they are, more worried about a punt than the horse itself!!!

If the NHRA do fuck all about this,i really hope Carte Blanche or the Spca get tore right into racing

how available are the vets in these situation in kimberley because we had to put down our horse a few months ago due to a broken leg and the vet took some time to come out broke my heart even more to hear that he could not be attended to straight away,there again is it not the authorities duty to make sure these beautiful animals needs are looked after after all these horses do pay there wages

I have purposely stayed away from this forum for various reasons, but I have to comment here. This excuse for a trainer is an absolute disgrace. It is clear that he has no conscience when it comes to the welfare of his horses.

The horse in this footage is suffering from radial nerve paralysis due to traumatic injury to the shoulder. It depends on the severity of the damage to The nerve and the extent of the paralysis as whether the horse can be saved. The main problem is not the paralysed leg, but the hoof of the good leg. Mechanical laminitis can and often does occur in the good leg, because it is bearing too much weight. A good example is Barbarro, who was euthanased because of the laminitis that occured in his good leg, after the operation to repair the fracture in the other leg. There was no expense spared to save him, but unfortunately he could not cope.

I have forwarded the footage to Bev and the HHCU team, to see what their response is. There is NO justification for this trainers lack of care. His licence *must* be revoked and a case of animal cruelty and neglect opened against him.
