WHAT A DISGRACE - FLAMINGO PARK TOP TRAINER JAAP VISSER

I can tell you that I shall pursue this with vigour, until justice is done. I left racing for 5 year because of the poor punishment given to Fritz Roux for starving that horse. I walked away. Did not want to be part of such a fickle industry. This time I won't.

What I am going to say now must be taken in the following contest, I do not condone what the trainer has done, it is wrong and he should be punished, am in now way defending the trainer, do not know him and has had no dealings with him.

when I read some of the posts it looks like SOME of the posters expect the NHA just to walk in there and shut the the trainer down, unfortunately in this country under democratic principles there is a process that has to be adhere to, the NHA must set up an inquiry and ask the trainer to explain his actions and only there after they can charge the trainer with what ever rules and regulations he has broken
but as usual there are SOME of this posters if given the chance will form a "lynch mob " and string up u person without giving him a chance to defend himself..

i think if prominent owners and trainers...are putting their muti million rand investment on the line,,....its a small price for us all punters to get the momentum in our favour and boycott flamingo..for a start...and then other centers later if nothing is done...i am not sure what time frame to allocate...as i am not totally clued up with how long an investigation of this magnitude would take

you are correct BUT there are enough people ,e on this forum with experience in dealing with these people that i think guilty is the only verdict

@racing Guru, We have no doubt that the full might of NHA would be brought down on us and would accept it...Oscar and ourselves would never, ever allow a horse in our care to be so cruelly treated and allow it to be in such pain.

Mark was given a R10000.00 fine(suspended) for making a threatening statement to a person. This person was even caught lying in the enquiry but Mark was fined cause he admitted the threat but the lie was brushed over.

Can't say this more....CRUELTY CANNOT be allowed to go unpunished.

Racehorses give so much of themselves (even the slow ones) and deserve so much better than to be treated like this.

Harry,Prove my point people are quick to make judgments without knowing the whole truth, do not bother to find out both side of the story.

@JAMES BOND that is why i have given him a chance to explain.... but again let me just say this THE HORSE IS DEAD.... why must there be a whole long story and admin to get a answer NOW? this is the part that make's no sense what so ever.....Its simple and easy tell PUMI,RA and GoldCircle ...... that the JOOSTE'S, VAN NIEKIRK, SHIRTLIF,etc etc.... have pulled out of the game...
