.....new patron no stranger to horses....also owns a very large show jumping stable a very expensive set up .....he has no stars for his many many BARS but no problem he now has very expensive jumpers.....::o

I see the winner of the sales race was a buy back,first past through the ring at the NYS for 400k,then sold and bought back at the rtr sale

Should he be advised to send a few of them over to the UK where they could race over hurdles and fences?? Might end up with a Cheltenham Gold Cup winner or even the Grand National won by an S.A. bred............................Die Kat? :P

I see they are claiming a record sale,it was bound to rise with a R 4.5 M buy back,median price was R100k – still well short of the R140k of the TBA RTR.....

whats the highest genuine sale ever? Previous record apparently Divine Jet but he was also a buy back by Mr Beck wasn't he?
