Well, he past that test impressively BUT .................I had him rated 98 before this run(official was 85) but this field was weak!!!! and I think this was about 100??............interesting what the handicappers think!

handicapers had him running to a 91 last time but hands tied...whats very interesting is that he shouldn't have been allowed to come to natal as his net rating was well below the sanctions imposed on visiting horses coming to natal as the locals do not want moderate horses in the province..he was only allowed to race in plate races not handicaps and this goes for a few other visiting horses

Nice to get excited about Futura but this was a weak field albeit he won comfortable. For me the only positive was he took to the track like a duck to water. Good luck to the connections but would be very interesting when he meets stronger opposition. Looking forward to it.
