I had a horse that were suppose to run in 3rd today she has been a few days short of 5 months of the track spend over 12000 in vet fees on her , racing get cancelled because of incapable people running racing they can take my colors away I dont care but they are incapable. Why wasnt the track inspected before the meeting so that all the races could be moved to turf???
It was not the jockeys .The track was not raceable and Dr Wheeler just did what he is suppose to do protect the animals.

How long will it be before the horse get into a race again? Another month? who pay the bills up to then ?we as owners suck the hindtit all the time.I AM F#$*%N PISSED OF .

Earlier this year I had 5 runners in Kimberley when the irregation system leaked again we as owners had to cough up .

I will sit back and carefully consider my further participation in this great game run by monkeys

I see 'Phumelela Gaming has launched and urgent investigation' - the outcome of which to be 'announced as soon as possible'

Let's see what comes out of that (the cynical view would be 'probably nothing')

Will they race there on Tuesday?

Had a few messages and the jocks are basically saying that the surface is done a bit like when a golf course bunker gets played in so much the sand needs renewed .A trainer i spoke to a while back said that the track manager refuses to listen to advise which is not helping but the jocks think he's struggling more because of what he has to race on .
Seemingly a jock wanted to warm his horse up on way to the start race1 and went round the bend and noticed he was going in to deep

The track is seemingly meant to be able to hold 1.2m gallons of water ( irrigation weekly ) yet has been abandoned for 7mm of rain recently.

Sadly a horse done its tendon race 2 today and if the rumours about the poly on the inside Turffobtein track I can't see much more racing on the vaal sand

Guys, i do believe that Larry has put P and the NHRA under pressure regarding the matter. He has asked for the report back in 24 hours. if this is so well done Larry

I know exactly how you feal, but sometimes i also wonder howcome the trainers dont get aggressive enough and stand together.
Is it either
some have to many wealthy owners
some have jooste horses and dont want to rock the boat.
The small battling trainers end up suffering.

I am cynical after all the past posturing...................so "I want a report within 24 hours or else!!!".................................just a question : or else what?
The situation is inexcusable so hope that Larry uses this opportunity prove the RA is independant and to take real action on behalf of owners.

Lets hope stubbornness doesn't prevail and they finally ditch our sand tracks and replace with "all weather" surfaces!

I do hope not Rob. Poly has its place but enough already, think I would be gone if that were to happen.
