Miranda Frost. Have backed her in both starts and she's been oh so impressive thus far. I know they rate Live Life but I have to stick with Miranda.
Think the boxed exacta should be a penalty kick too, if you want a saver.

Race 1 - Would seem a two horse race, with Alpha Girl and Rebel's Burst. With both at less than 5/1 no need to really try and seperate them - although I am leaning to Rebels Burst --> No value.
Race 2 - Once again with the low returns on offer, no need to try and seperate Star Flash and Ocean's Trip --> No Value.
Race 3 - Al Wahed catches the attention, but I am going with Boomtown Belter to be right at home at this MR, with Mission Control off a nice looking win the danger.
Race 4 = Jet Air has had every kind of trouble, slots in nicely at this class, with stable Jockey up - I am looking for him to finally get a clean run and beat Milton home. (Unfortunately trouble seems to follow the horse)
Race 5 - Form suggests Sergeant Hardy will be hard to beat here - but at 1.85 not willing to take the risk.
Race 6 - You'll have to be brave or an insider to choose the right one here - I will go with Don't Stop Dancing.
Race 7 - Despite my aversion to underlaid runners - Navasha looks strong here, no value, with an outside chance for Mrs Gray.
Race 8 - This one needs deeper analysis - Starting with Hammie's Game capable of following up recent win, Storm Faerie and Paladin in with chances, and Our Icon getting the blinkers needs to be watched.
Quite hard to find a playable bet in amongst this lot......but let's see as the day unfolds.

How has the weather been in Cape Town?, the state of the going will play a big part if the going comes up soft.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Colts feature bit disappointing. Been a few promising sorts running so pity not many in here.
Sgt Hardy is clearly decent but feel he was a bit lucky on met day so with rest/geld/and weight favour Elevated.
Miranda frost had looked good but its quite competitive really with a few not too shabby.
Misson Control was impressive debut race 3 looks his for the taking
Milton has turned out to be decent and I think he can carry the weight in R4

Thanks Bob. I had a great weekend up in Durbs with good friends and fantastic horses. Some stars that came to the fore and some stars still very underdone but still early in the season. The saddest part was however how shocking Greyville turf track looks. Jockies saying it is sticky out there........wtf ? How much rain did they have prior to Friday ? Who left the tap on ? Fire that useless self-opinionated track manager ! (sorry but I have always loved Greyville )
On to tomorrow. Lets hope the gelding has done the trick and his true potential will be revealed over his next few runs. He is well and should take a power of beating.

It's a beautiful sunny day in CT - we had a brief thunderstorm last night but expecting the track to be perfect with not much wind.
I'm hoping for a good day for sire Elusive Fort : I fancy both Al Wahed and Elevated, while Shall be Free has an ew shout.
Race 1: on the face of it a boat race between Tripvilia and Svala and they are selected in that order. Kwando can win this if finding best earlier form but has been poor recently. Either of the 2 year olds could improve to challenge. I would add them to the bipot.
Race 2: Tricky with so many unexposed horses.
Race 3: Al Wahed won well last time and as that was his first run after gelding should improve further. Mission Control beat nothing of note on debut, but should also improve plenty from that so must be the danger. Ledbury seems to be coming back to best and could earn a cheque.
