Are the NHA acting with integrity wrt Mayfair/MJ?

OTA,you surely hate Jooste and what he has done to you and most of our fellow citizens.But when you get insulting calling Afrikaans speaking white citizens "Dutchmen"..You surely dont know any shit about history and wrongly so also benefitted like all of us from APARTHEID.
I am sure there is more to you...show us a different OTA, Let the real you come out, ..or what are you hiding?

Nic I spent a year in national service that was enough for me. Remember I don't hate Afrikaners, I have many Afrikaans speaking friends. Dutchmen refers to those special guys who thought, and many still do, that they are superior because of their heritage.

OTA while I commend you on your efforts to highlight the wrongs in racing in this country and pointing out the ( bad guys )as you see them. You have constantly started new threads about MJ when old ones fade away. Don't get me wrong it's fine if you have the time to sit and go on and on and on with this but can I just ask - have you done any more than just post on ABC. Have you asked the NHA directly - have you asked for a meeting or have you attended any hearings . I'm just curious as we all know not everyone reads this forum and those that do choose not to respond anyway. Surely your time and effort would be better spent hounding the powers that be than continuously posting to all of us on ABC . Many like Neigh and myself and others just don't bother much any more to participate on ABC it's just becoming tiresome to be honest. I recognize the need to highlight the wrongs and like I said have nothing against you for doing so but just wonder if there wasn't a better way for you to get answers and results. Good luck to you anyway in getting the leopard to change its spots.

I caught a bit of WWays last night and heard James mention that MJ horses that were with Haggas were sold at the Tattersalls sales all fine, then I heard them say its not good to loose big players in the industry.



I have the query for the more informed horse men to correct me:

1) who is what is defined a big player??? a person that spends his hard earned to continue support racing which I believe is correct.

2) IS MJ a big player???

2.1)For me IMO MJ I cant see a big player as by all the recent events he bought blood into the country etc many years ago supported the local sales big time and then went abroad....BUT with whose money??????? definitely not his( maybe part his money the other millions???), he could have bought stock of his own back then but to me once again IN MY OPINION the horses bought and brought into the country with ill gotten gains to me is no big player the game.

obviously the law is still to take its course but with everyone aware and what's been published...there no comeback here

my only ask is because of what I heard on WW last night.

.....barring most of his more recent purchases abroad(UK, Ireland and France).....I recon with the type of money he was splashing around locally and in Ozz.....he could have bought a lot better.....
IMVHO dont believe he hooked up with the best advise available....I do give him credit for Variety Club though..... and this is what put JR on Jooste's go to list.....the fact that VC's fertility problems have stopped them from passing his genes on .....makes me think that there is a divine power that intervened and stopped MJ from his grander plans in controlling horse racing in the same way he was doing with his business empire.... :dry:

.....No....the orignal "Killer" Smith was at Danie Theron Combat School in Kimberley....from the early 70's....in the late 70's when Kimberly was taking in 2yr conscripts he was seconded to 1 Military Works Unit where he was a PF drill sergeant....and lived on the base with his family.... :dry:

.....I dont believe that OTA is a member of the NHRA.....so there he will have no say
.....even if one is a member I dont believe that they would entertain any sort of complaint either....good on OTA holding on like a tenacious small dog....wish he had the clout to get MJ out and much faster....delaying the matter is still going to end in a bigger disaster....with this precedent being set.....makes this industry a haven for the next big spending alleged fraudster to get preferential treatment and made to feel that it is just fine to splurge and spend until the very end.... :whistle:
