Is he going to declare a State of Emergency? Smells like it. But I can't see the justification.

Howzit guys
What I got from last night's talk was only concerning. The agenda was about the support Goverment would be providing to business and citizens . The amounts needed is higher than telephone numbers.
With respect to the racing industry, this is about the furthest thing as part of an Essential service.
We will be going through some really tough times, the tough is still to come.
Personally & in my humble opinion I think our current President is doing an amazing task. (i would not want to be in his shoes)

Humanity vs Economy. Humanity will always win.
Rather have Mr Makhanya and Mr Viljoen in ques for funds than have them sick with no access no healthcare, the health system will crumble.

.....brilliant, have the poorest frailest most vulnerable people stand on top of each other every month end....FFS went to get a spare part and the private security could not keep them apart.....so is this is what the army and police will be busy doing....while those that do not qualify for grants loot bottle stores, hijack food, masks and sanitizer deliveries and burn schools....we are too thin on security despite trying to find 73000 more trained troops....:S

Dean321, these 2 principles are not mutually exclusive.
For example: If I'm sick such that I cannot work. I leave work to sort out my health, which is probably the right thing to do. But when I recover, I'll need to get back into employment. If I cannot find a job, what's the point of getting better on the first place?
Now, take this and multiply it by a million.
