Can you believe the part with the meths is off limits, these government guys don't
trust us law abiding citizens.

....if I did not see it with my own eyes I would not believe it....have just used my wife's car to get some fresh provisions for lunch.....and at that very intersection where Mr very expensive boots has made his corner ....he and 2 others had approx 10 shopping bags of what I presume are "donated" provisions in Spar, Woolworths and Checkers bags...and they were trying to load them into a Takealot delivery bike back box.....I wonder if they are part of a generous collection and delivery service tasked at getting the goods to people really in need....I think not...Takealot do not deliver on Sundays and nor can they operate during the lockdown.....pity I did not have my phone with me to snap a few pics......

Dave about 2 weeks ago i tried to buy some meths. On my way home from the office.

Was told by pick n pay........sorry NOT AUTHORIZED to sell meths......AFTER 17.00 hrs.....by law....but i could ho an buy booze 30 m away at their bottle store..

Returned the FOLLOWING MORNING to get the meths..... i know u have yo dign a register when buying this stuff.

Said give me 2 x bottles.....1 for home, 1 for office........was told, SORRY YOU'RE ONLY ALLOWED TO BUY 1 AT A TIME..........dome of these law's, un bloody real :evil:

Believe me when i say i haven't had a drink yet........honest !

Had my usual " get together" with the refuse collectors. Usual donation to their food kitty. Much whistling and laughing. No high fives.

Sha Tin. Boom, went out of p/a and bipot and so loaded the jackpot. Two hot favourites came in and so lost on my "investment." All in all I enjoyed the card and will play again on Wednesday.

I must say I really enjoyed the Royal Randwick Grade 1's over the past two weeks. The jackpot pools were R10 million and R8 million respectively. I was able to get nice percentages of the big jackpot payouts.

I find that in Hong Kong many of the favourites arrive and I am never able to even recover my investment. It is the Purton vs. Moreirra show!!
