Jack still in the balance
The racing chaps are still in talks with Government (same as many others)
Would have to say sadly its unlikely.
You will be able to read on site when its official

No updates yet, but noms and declaration are tomorrow for this weekends racing. Personally don't think we will be allowed to race this weekend, but I hope I'm wrong.

We all want to race, i hear they were reasonably confident, but a few media reports have dampened their enthusiasm... Especially in Durban and Cape Town

Racing only resumed at a Lock-down level 3 in New Zealand. We are level 4 in SA so the chances of resumption is low at the moment i would presume!!

Morning all as we get close to the end of the 35 days and wonder what's next? as very little changes.
Could still do with a bottle store opening near to us, would like racing to start ?
I did read a very interesting article/post from Richard Lendrum, which I fully support his thoughts that the Government has not really balanced the deaths vs economy correctly.
Did stats and certainly appears a steady drop in fatalities world wide.
Not really in the mood for a song today as cabin fever kicking in and month end bills become a reality.
Keep safe and hope for a break

they said a lot of nothing in my opinion.
with the 1st of May approaching so many questions on processes and fine print for certain sectors.
Where do u go for answers, guidance if u are unsure?
probably on get clarity from the 4th of may when issues show up on Level 4.
with Winter and Flu season on the horizon for southern hemisphere countries we could see a spike in this Virus if not handled correctly. Gauteng being at such high altitude with poor air quality could make us a new hotspot.
businesses such as Hair and Beauty salons no update. second hand dealers, short term loan places, dog groomers, garden services, family owned small restaurants lots of others may never open again.
sad and hard times ahead.
