In the previous world wars, the allied and axis powers were defined by nationality. Today, they coexist within the same country.

We are experiencing that war now.

Not sure what Level 4 is achieving - everywhere I have been today for legitimate reasons i have seen multiple people breaching rules - Just now at 5pm three fools walked past my house with a pitbull each - I walk my dogs every morning during the designated times - I know some rules are really stupid but if everyone starts breaking rules because they can what will we achieve except to give the Police and Army work- I know the kids are off school but seriously there are some adults that seem to be children at heart and in action-

Cheers guys home safe and sound.

Went for car plenty drama, it was first day they opened, batteries flat, cars not washed and petrol.
Took me 3 hours to get on road and 6 hour drive.

5? Tolls about R400, 2 blocks allowed through both.
Second one was big, officer was looking for a space for me to occupy he lent over and I am sure he says " Malema, is killing me"
I almost says, yes he is a bit of a twat. But lucky mrs s says " have you been on your legs long" to which he replied 12 hrs.mam .
Sue gave me a nudge and said the officer says "ma legs are killing me"
He was very nice and says just drive on.
These bloody masks, still cant understand why we were wearing in car?.😷

We had a nice bottle of wine in fridge for Sue after she finishes her medication, I found a bottle of Glen Scotia in the back of unit.

Ps plenty back door booze for sale but rather pricey.

Will catch up with daily drama shortly and do a two day covid update in the morning

Ps After Life 2 is on Netflix should be good

Saying goodbye to kids not nice 😢

Plus roads very quiet until we hit Joburg and on many occasions looking at smaller towns many people close together in lines, possibly waiting on pensions or payouts.
Very sad situation and no masks.

Finally. Someone is challenging these draconian rules. No skin in this game, by I'm rooting for the smokers!

Goooood morrrrrrrning African Betting clansmen. I think Day 39 in Level 4.

Dave can take a break today following his stressful trip y’day and Mac will be your DJ for just this morn.

And what do we have for you today? First of all Joburg will have a minumum of 9C with a max of 23 and no rain and no wind. The Highveld autumn must have the best weather in the world. Your DJ plays “Here Comes The Sun” by the Beatles.

On the business side Brent is steadily edging from $22 a week ago to $28 now. Your DJ thinks that this is a good sign. Gold is steady at $1700 and Bitcoin, which has been the best investment during the virus, is sitting at $8,800. The Dow Jones 23,000 has lost 18% during the virus, which, Mac thinks could have been a lot worse. Trump will be printing another mind boggling $3 trillion to pay for the pandemic relief - guard yourself against massive inflation soon. The virus has subsequently consumed, Phum’s, surprisingly, fair financial statements who have issued a warning of a possible voluntary meltdown. DJ plays “Money” by Pink Floyd.

On the Sporting side? What sporting side? The Premier League doctors are squabbling about insurance and liabilities should a player/s be infected with the virus. The 2021 British and Ireland Lions tour to SA is under threat but at best could be moved from July to Sep. The British Horse Racing boss says racing will return within one week after being given the go ahead. Mac says this is five days too long as SA can do it in two. Your DJ plays any song from Queen’s album “A Day At The Races”.

Scientists have discovered a microbe that completely protects mosquitoes from being infected with malaria. Staying with insects, the US remains under another attack from a new terror: "murder hornets".

Song of the day is “Its The End If The World As We Know It” by R.E.M.
