The impact of the lockdown will be worse than what the Guptas did to us.

Morning all

What can one say, the majority are complaining about lack of aid, the minority are complaining they cant work, bottom line financial disaster.

I do notice world wide trend appears to be dropping with the Virus.

The Virus does not have a start and end date, so rather lets try and get the wheels in motion before its too late.

Racing faces a huge challenge and full support is required to get us up and racing again, plus some change in mindset from the Government.
Viva la France

On a private capacity that car hire took almost another 4 grand off my card after drop off, so a mini battle starts today.

Good punting in France.

No song today but here is Kauto Star winning first race in France (who would have thought)

Dave you should ask the bank to reverse the extra amount first. Think there used to be a dispute form in the branch that had to be completed.

Morning again, sun is still shining.

Have been for a few early morning walks trying to find neighbors involved with black market items as it appears to now be a massive industry.

Having watched all the news, fake and genuine, surely the President must say something as the country is now reaching the point of no return.
The "silence" is deafening.

As far as racing the Alec Hogg show is on the Wehann Smith thread and he is always worth a listen.
Good questions and answers but the bottom line is if we don't race soon, it could all be in vain?

The song is for Cyril
Not the original but these words should be considered

"Talking is cheap, people follow like sheep , even though there is nowhere to go"
Tell me about it.......

Its time to move to level 3.

Oops wrong button pushed.

Was going to say that with the large amounts of loot being handed out perhaps the Prez and his merry band will relent and relieve the restrictions on tobacco and booze so as to assist the needy.

I agree with Dave it is time to move - but I'd say 'f*ck' these levels and just go back to normal - the COVID-19 disease imo is here to stay .... I saw a piece on an analyst's prediction on how things will go here in good old SA for the next year ... may be not 100% correct on the dates and the levels, but what he said (and of course he could be totally wrong) came down to the following:

SA to move to Level 3 within the next week - and then maybe Level 2 from 1 June .... HOWEVER he is predicting that SA will move back to Levels 4 and 5 in mid-winter, only to gradually move up through the levels from September to reach Level 1 by year-end ... but a very real possibility of moving back to Level 5 by Winter 2021 .... I for one am hoping he is completely wrong .....

Morning all and depression is setting in and time to stop the lockdown.

Have to go for my walk but this 70% alcohol hand sanitizer is really giving me heart burn.

Nothing moving on the horsey front.

19000 prisoners being released to make space for non mask wearing citizens.

Cyril appears to be chilled, I am sure with access to his evening nip.

I really feel like changing my name to Tom and leaving the planet.

This is now farcical ... the silence is deafening... but flatten the curve ... do not buy T-Shirts !!!

Home brewed alcohol and smoking rose petals will kill more people than the virus will !!!

I have officially suffered a total humour failure with these arseholes running the country (down)

The only thing that would keep my chin up would be the following.

To arrange a game of trivial pursuit for a grand with CR top team and advisors.
