HIV is to COVID as a Lion is to a kitten. Thankfully, for HIV, there are ARVs now that help. The same will happen for COVID.

Why didn't the government make sex outside of marriage illegal (social distancing) in the interest of public health, or make contraception mandatory (face masks) etc etc?
All they did was educate people, and people were left with their choices. That's democracy.

The" exercise time " this morning looked like the good old days in Joubert Park. Adults, kids, dogs, bicycles, prams and a parrot proudly on his owners shoulder. Plenty of waving and shouting and chatting. Sadly no kissing and hugging like Fred, da doobie doobie do.

Viva freedom Viva!

I think this may be cancelled as it is a big social affair.

Racing behind closed doors would not be condoned!

Morning and thanks Mac, was not really in the mood for a song today.

It’s a big day for us as we have to leave KZN to return home before the deadline.

It’s been a good crack in the racing community here in Gold Circle country.

Big decision to leave our current arrangement and get home to the flat in Pretoria .

Our concern was if the projected numbers do materialize, we might go back to level 5 and never get back to reality and base.

I have to go to Durban town to collect a rental car and then head for home, only concern is the time scale with tolls and road blocks, with our local Gestapo, hopefully no SS attitudes and we are home by curfew.
Have all docs re: proof of residence etc and certainly no alcohol to declare.

Saying goodbye to kids will be heartbreaking, as with age, future transport and financial reality it will be a very sore GOODBYE.

Morning Dave

Due to the possibility of a momentous day I would like to add a second song to the list for today ( doffs cap at Mac for adding to his choice). Paul Weller has always been a favourite of mine and this song is perfect for today
